THE INFLUENCE MAP MEME

¿A quién añadir?

Days ago, I discover something at Deviant which I really thought was a cool idea, a influence map. In this one you can add anything, artists, films, music, pictures, anything that would make a influence for you in your art for your work. Thinking about that, there was a lot of names coming to my mind: Carlos Pacheco, Alex Ross, Humberto Ramos, Stan Lee, Geoff Jones, Millar, Ralf König, Christophe Jannin, Alex Alice, Middlenton, Pascual Ferry, Bendis, Olivier Coipel and so many more... but, who do I have to add? Who do I not?, step by step I realize that even using all the squares in the map, I could never get a result which would be good enough for me, and this is because, anything could be an inspiration. And No, it is not that I wanted to be poetic or so, it is something I really believe in, EVERYTHING is inspiration: the pencils of an artist, a good story, the movie you watch last week, that music that really make your day, the culture of an ancient civilization long time forgotten, the city where do you live, the light that bright in the beach when you are lazy, or the things you watch through the window when you are traveling in the train, maybe something that get your attention when you were walking down the street, or that thing you dream on last night, sometimes even the worst situation or experiences make the inspiration for a new drawing, art piece or write about it!. So, if I had to choose my influence map, I choose the map of our world, because our world, ladies and gentlemen, is pure inspiration.
